Lagenandra nairii 'Compact'

Lagenandra nairii ‘Compact’ is endemic to Chalakkudy, Kerala and is quite unique for its stunning compact growing habit; obviously the compact in Lagenandra varieties.

This can be grown submersed as well as emerged in paludariums/ terrariums/ photospheres etc.

Nymphaea 'Marliacea Chromatella'

Chromatella Waterlily is a hardy plant with purple-marbled floating leaves 15-20 cm wide, and cupped light yellow flowers 15cm across, with orange stamens.

Najas indica

Care must be taken as the stems of this delicate plant can break off easily. They can also be kept as floating plant.

Pistia stratiotes

A fast growing floating plant which is also suitable for ponds.

Echinodorus amazonicus

Can be planted in groups. Regular pruning is required.

Amcella Repens

Easy to grow plant used in Dutch aquascapes. Under the right conditions the stems and leaves develop reddish tint. Picture is of emersed form.

Staurogyne sp. brown

A beautiful foreground plants which turns brownish under high light, CO2 and nutrient dosing.

Heteranthera zosteraefolia

With bright light, CO2 injection and adequate nutrient dosing, is required for this plant to do well in the aquarium. Regular pruning is required.

Alternanthera Reineckii "Lilacina"

This plant is easy to care for given the right conditions of strong light and iron rich substrate. Will look good in the center of aquarium in small groups
