A small rotala sp from Assam with green colored broad oval leaves.

Ludwigia brevipes

A hardy mid-ground plant which has to be pruned regularly to keep compact. Low nitrates with high phosphate will make the plant reddish.

Rotala macrandra 'Narrow leaf'

Very bright light, CO2 injection and adequate nutrient dosing is required to bring out the red coloration.
