Lagenandra nairii 'Compact'

Lagenandra nairii ‘Compact’ is endemic to Chalakkudy, Kerala and is quite unique for its stunning compact growing habit; obviously the compact in Lagenandra varieties.

This can be grown submersed as well as emerged in paludariums/ terrariums/ photospheres etc.

Under high light and adequate nutrients dosing this plants leaves turn purple red. Easy to propagate through cuttings.

This plant is not very hard to keep, but will do best with CO2 injection. Multiply by lateral shoots.
