Lagenandra nairii ‘Compact’ is endemic to Chalakkudy, Kerala and is quite unique for its stunning compact growing habit; obviously the compact in Lagenandra varieties.

This can be grown submersed as well as emerged in paludariums/ terrariums/ photospheres etc.

Cryptocoryne lucens is another hardy plant that is slow growing and easy to maintain. It will grow under a wide variety of lighting conditions.

Good plant for beginners. Can be grown under various conditions.

Very Bright light, CO2 injection and adequate dosing is required for this plant to do well in the aquarium.
