A beautiful and very varied species from West Africa with leaves of green to red-brown and varying numbers of purple spots. Can grow from 20-80 cm tall.

Very bright light, CO2 injection and adequate nutrient dosing is required to bring out the red coloration.

Suitable for aquariums with bright light and will look good when kept in well spaced groups.

Ludwigia palustris -Hi red

This plant will adapt to most aquarium conditions if bright light is available. Regular pruning is required for the plant to become a bush.

Lilaeopsis brasiliensis

This beautiful lilaeopsis sp can be used as a midground and background plant in nano tanks.

Looks good when planted in group and set against plants with light green leaves. For best result use very bright light and nutrients.
