Lagenandra nairii 'Compact'

Lagenandra nairii ‘Compact’ is endemic to Chalakkudy, Kerala and is quite unique for its stunning compact growing habit; obviously the compact in Lagenandra varieties.

This can be grown submersed as well as emerged in paludariums/ terrariums/ photospheres etc.

Easy to grow under bright light and adequate nutrient dosing.

Smallest cryptocoryne sp which can be used as a foreground plant. Unlike other cryptocoryne sp this plant requires high light.

This plant can be used in terrarium or paludarium. It does not survive submerged for more than a few months.

Good choice for Dutch aquariums. Requires high light, CO2 and nutrients to bring out the color. Clean and clear water is required as debris may clog the fine leaves.

Can be grown under low lights too. Grows into a beautiful lawn and can be used as a mid grown plant and background in nano tanks.
