Lagenandra nairii 'Compact'

Lagenandra nairii ‘Compact’ is endemic to Chalakkudy, Kerala and is quite unique for its stunning compact growing habit; obviously the compact in Lagenandra varieties.

This can be grown submersed as well as emerged in paludariums/ terrariums/ photospheres etc.

Hemigraphis sp. Pink

This plant can be used in terrarium or paludarium. It does not survive submerged for more than a few months.

Cryptocoryne lucens

Cryptocoryne lucens is another hardy plant that is slow growing and easy to maintain. It will grow under a wide variety of lighting conditions.

Rotala nanjenshan

Bright light, CO2 injection and adequate nutrient dosing is required to bring out the red tip in this plant.

Staurogyne sp.'Porto velho'

This plant grows best under strong light. It can also be attached to driftwood or rocks. Picture is for representation only.

Proserpinaca palustris

Requires very bright light, CO2 injection and adequate nutrient dosing for this plant to do well in the aquarium.

Microcarpaea minima

This plant is not very hard to keep, but will do best with CO2 injection. Multiply by lateral shoots.

Pogostemon stellatus 'Octopus'

This needle leaf variety of P stellatus can be used as a background plant. Requires high light, CO2 and nutrient dosing.
