This plant can be used in terrarium or paludarium. It does not survive submerged for more than a few months.

Lagenandra nairii ‘Compact’ is endemic to Chalakkudy, Kerala and is quite unique for its stunning compact growing habit; obviously the compact in Lagenandra varieties.
