Easy to grow plant used in Dutch aquascapes. Under the right conditions the stems and leaves develop reddish tint. Picture is of emersed form.

Najas roraima

Under high light and nutrient dosing, the tip of the plant turns red. The leaves have dotted pattern. Care must be taken as the stems of this delicate plant can break off easily. They can also be kept as floating plant.

A hardy mid-ground plant which has to be pruned regularly to keep compact. Low nitrates with high phosphate will make the plant reddish.

Fertilizer tabs are required for this plant to grow well and to flower. Night blooming lily.

A beautiful new red foreground plants. Requires high light and nutrients for it to creep on substrate.
