A hardy mid-ground plant which has to be pruned regularly to keep compact. Low nitrates with high phosphate will make the plant reddish.

A beautiful foreground plants which turns brownish under high light, CO2 and nutrient dosing.

Hygrophila polysperma 'rosanervig'

This plant with bright pink leaves grows fast in bright light. Can be grown in various aquarium conditions.
