Microsorum pteropus - 'Java Fern ordinary"

Widely known as “Java Fern”- is the classic variant of ‘Microsorum pteropus’ and one of the largest in aquatic ferns. The new leaves of this epiphyte are light green & mature leaves are broad- dark green – hammered structure &uneven surfaces with lush leaves. This can be placed in back and mid sections of aquariums. Under right conditions this plant will grow quickly producing intensely olive green, pink leaves.

Hygrophila odora is similar to difformis but differs by their narrower form. A nutrient rich substrate, water column nutrient dosing, adequate lights and CO2 injection will bring the best out of this plant.
