Nymphaea sp. Leopard

A beautiful and very varied species from West Africa with leaves of green to red-brown and varying numbers of purple spots. Can grow from 20-80 cm tall.

Myriophyllum scabratum -Green

Clean and clear water is required as debris may clog the fine leaves.

Echinodorus Rose

A large plant suitable for background in the aquarium. Bright light and nutrient rich substrate is required.

Ludwigia brevipes

A hardy mid-ground plant which has to be pruned regularly to keep compact. Low nitrates with high phosphate will make the plant reddish.

Nuphar japonica

This slow growing plant can be also be used as a specimen plant.

Potamogeton Octandrus - Green

Undemanding plant, once established in the aquarium will grow fast. Frequent pruning is needed to maintain shape.

Ceratopteris Thalictroides

This plant requires bright light and space to grow. Can be used as floating plant and background plant.

This plant grows faster in bright light conditions and CO2 injection. Should be planted in small groups to make a bush.

Microcarpaea minima

This plant is not very hard to keep, but will do best with CO2 injection. Multiply by lateral shoots.
