Lagenandra nairii ‘Compact’ is endemic to Chalakkudy, Kerala and is quite unique for its stunning compact growing habit; obviously the compact in Lagenandra varieties.

This can be grown submersed as well as emerged in paludariums/ terrariums/ photospheres etc.

Pogostemon stellatus- Broad leaf -Purple

Requires very bright light, CO2 injection and adequate nutrient dosing for this plant to do well in the aquarium.

Rotala Macrandra - Pink

Very bright light, CO2 injection and adequate nutrient dosing is required to bring out the pink coloration.

Lagenandra ovata

Grows high and can be used as a background plant. This low demanding plant can be grown emersed and submersed. Ensure rhizome is not fully buried.

Aponogeton undulates

The long thin shaped leaves of this plant makes it ideal for midground or background of the aquarium.

Can be planted in groups. Regular pruning is required.
