This plant can be used in terrarium or paludarium. It does not survive submerged for more than a few months.

Very bright light, CO2 injection and adequate nutrient dosing is required to bring out the pink coloration.

The long thin shaped leaves of this plant makes it ideal for midground or background of the aquarium.

A beautiful and very varied species from West Africa with leaves of green to red-brown and varying numbers of purple spots. Can grow from 20-80 cm tall.
