The striking red colour on the upper side of the submersed leaves is most intensive under strong light, and it can look like it was brushed on. The red leaves often have small green spots.

Requires very bright light. CO2 injection and adequate nutrient dosing helps this plant to do well in the aquarium. Size 5 X 5 cm

Important: This is a very delicate and sensitive plant so damages during transit is very high.

Najas indica

Care must be taken as the stems of this delicate plant can break off easily. They can also be kept as floating plant.

Smallest ludwigia sp. Turns deep red under high light, CO2, and nutrient dosing.

Easy to grow under bright light and adequate nutrient dosing.
