Very hardy plant that will do well in most aquariums. Requires bright light to grow as a carpet.

Good choice for Dutch aquariums. Requires high light, CO2 and nutrients to bring out the color. Clean and clear water is required as debris may clog the fine leaves.

Rotala wallichii 'Mexicana'

Very Bright Light, CO2 injection and adequate nutrient dosing is required to bring out the red color.

This plant requires bright light. Iron dosing along with regular fertilization will make this plant take on a maroon coloration.
