Hygrophila odora is similar to difformis but differs by their narrower form. A nutrient rich substrate, water column nutrient dosing, adequate lights and CO2 injection will bring the best out of this plant.

The best method to plant this is tying it on a piece of wood / rough stone /tree root with a dark cotton thread or fishing line to attach the plant until the roots holds the material & doesn’t appreciate being planted in the substrate in submersed condition & the rhizome should not buried in the substrate . Low light, low Co2 & very less nutrients are advised.

This plant grows faster in bright light conditions and CO2 injection. Should be planted in small groups to make a bush.

This easy to grow plant can be kept in groups and can be grown under various conditions.
