Microsorum pteropus - 'Java Fern ordinary"

Widely known as “Java Fern”- is the classic variant of ‘Microsorum pteropus’ and one of the largest in aquatic ferns. The new leaves of this epiphyte are light green & mature leaves are broad- dark green – hammered structure &uneven surfaces with lush leaves. This can be placed in back and mid sections of aquariums. This plant requires nutrient rich substrate. Regular pruning will keep it looking its best.

Alternanthera reineckii 'rosanervig'

This plant has pink leaves with white colored veins. Grows compact under very high light. CO2 and nutrient dosing is required.

Undemanding plants which can be grown under various conditions. Can also be used as foreground plants under very bright light and regular pruning.

Bolbitis heteroclita 'difformis'

Bolbitis heteroclita "difformis" is a small, fine tripinate -leaved form of B. heteroclita, originating from the Philippines widely known as Mini Bolbitis. This fern grows very slowly under water and grows best when cultivated as a terrestrial plant.

This is more suitable to grow emerged in paludariums/terrariums/phytospheres etc & also suitable for moist & warm terrariums/ Vertical Gardens etc.

The best method to plant this is tying it on a piece of wood / rough stone /tree root with a dark cotton thread or fishing line to attach the plant until the roots holds the material & doesn’t appreciate being planted in the substrate in submersed condition & the rhizome should not buried in the substrate . Low light, low Co2 & very less nutrients are advised.

Alternanthera Reineckii "Lilacina"

This plant is easy to care for given the right conditions of strong light and iron rich substrate. Will look good in the center of aquarium in small groups

Hygrophilla angustifolia

This plant grows fast under bright light and adequate nutrient dosing.

Eriocaulon breviscapum

Very Bright light, CO2 injection and adequate dosing is required for this plant to do well in the aquarium.

Rotala Indica

Easy to grow aquarium plant which grows in various conditions. Bright light will bring out the red coloration.

Lagenandra nairii 'Compact'

Lagenandra nairii ‘Compact’ is endemic to Chalakkudy, Kerala and is quite unique for its stunning compact growing habit; obviously the compact in Lagenandra varieties.

This can be grown submersed as well as emerged in paludariums/ terrariums/ photospheres etc.
