Lagenandra nairii ‘Compact’ is endemic to Chalakkudy, Kerala and is quite unique for its stunning compact growing habit; obviously the compact in Lagenandra varieties.

This can be grown submersed as well as emerged in paludariums/ terrariums/ photospheres etc.

Easy plant to keep, good light will result in larger leaf whorls.

This plant can be used in terrarium or paludarium. It does not survive submerged for more than a few months.

Undemanding plant, once established in the aquarium will grow fast. Frequent pruning is needed to maintain shape.
