With bright light, CO2 injection and adequate nutrient dosing, is required for this plant to do well in the aquarium. Regular pruning is required.

Chromatella Waterlily is a hardy plant with purple-marbled floating leaves 15-20 cm wide, and cupped light yellow flowers 15cm across, with orange stamens.
