Lagenandra nairii 'Compact'

Lagenandra nairii ‘Compact’ is endemic to Chalakkudy, Kerala and is quite unique for its stunning compact growing habit; obviously the compact in Lagenandra varieties.

This can be grown submersed as well as emerged in paludariums/ terrariums/ photospheres etc.

A new Rotala sp in the hobby!! Very bright light, CO2 injection and adequate nutrient dosing is required to bring out the red coloration.

A fast growing and sturdy plant which turns pinkish under high light, CO2 and nutrient dosing.

This plant is not very hard to keep, but will do best with CO2 injection. Multiply by lateral shoots.
