An easy to keep slow growing plant which can be placed in the midground. Usually used in paludariums and terrariums.

Limnophila aromatica/ hippuroides -Purple

Very Bright light, CO2 and adequate nutrient dosing is required to bring out the intense red colour of this plant.

Amcella Repens

Easy to grow plant used in Dutch aquascapes. Under the right conditions the stems and leaves develop reddish tint. Picture is of emersed form.

Ludwigia brevipes

A hardy mid-ground plant which has to be pruned regularly to keep compact. Low nitrates with high phosphate will make the plant reddish.

Najas roraima

Under high light and nutrient dosing, the tip of the plant turns red. The leaves have dotted pattern. Care must be taken as the stems of this delicate plant can break off easily. They can also be kept as floating plant.

Cryptocoryne axelrodi

Cryptocoryne Axelrodi is relatively easy to maintain and it is a slow growing plant. This is a narrow leaf crypt which is quite hardy with almost all water types and is greeninsh brown in colour

Limnobium laevigatum

This adaptable floating plant can be kept in pond or open topped aquariums with adequate ventilation.

Heteranthera zosteraefolia

With bright light, CO2 injection and adequate nutrient dosing, is required for this plant to do well in the aquarium. Regular pruning is required.

Lagenandra ovata

Grows high and can be used as a background plant. This low demanding plant can be grown emersed and submersed. Ensure rhizome is not fully buried.
