Cryptocoryne lucens is another hardy plant that is slow growing and easy to maintain. It will grow under a wide variety of lighting conditions.

Ludwigia brevipes

A hardy mid-ground plant which has to be pruned regularly to keep compact. Low nitrates with high phosphate will make the plant reddish.

Cryptocoryne pontederiifolia

This easy to grow plant can be kept in groups and can be grown under various conditions.

Hygrophilla angustifolia

This plant grows fast under bright light and adequate nutrient dosing.

Echinodorus Parviflorus "Tropica"

Under high light and nutrient dosing, the tip of the plant turns red. The leaves have dotted pattern. Care must be taken as the stems of this delicate plant can break off easily. They can also be kept as floating plant.
