Good plant for beginners. Can be grown under various conditions.

Eleocharis parvula

Forms a lush grassy carpet under very bright light, CO2 and adequate nutrients.

Gymnocoronis spilanthoides

This stem plant can be grown under various conditions and can tolerate high temperatures. There should be adequate space between the stems while planting.

Echinodorus Major

Nutrient rich substrate is required for this plant which grows large. Suitable for large aquariums.

Azolla Caroliniana

This is a floating aquatic fern. Bright to medium light is required for this plant. Suitable for ponds.

A hardy mid-ground plant which has to be pruned regularly to keep compact. Low nitrates with high phosphate will make the plant reddish.

Bright light, CO2 injection and adequate nutrient dosing is required to bring out the red tip in this plant.
