Undemanding plant, once established in the aquarium will grow fast. Frequent pruning is needed to maintain shape.

Cuphea anagalloidea

Cuphea anagalloidea is a small, demanding stem plant. Its shoots grow around 1.5 to 2 cm wide, measured from leaf tip to leaf tip. The striking red colour on the upper side of the submersed leaves is most intensive under strong light, and it can look like it was brushed on. The red leaves often have small green spots.

Salvinia natans

Easy and fast growing floating plant. Can be also grown under low light.

Lagenandra toxicaria "giant"

Undemanding plant but will do very well in nutrient rich substrate, bright light, CO2 and adequate nutrient dosing.

Cabomba piauhyensis

This red cabomba is a high demanding plant. Regular fertilization with good light and iron supplement is required.

Echinodorus parvifloris

Undemanding plant which can tolerate soft or hard water.

Ludwigia arcuata- Dark red

Very bright light, CO2 injection, and adequate dosing is required for this plant to do well in the aquarium.

Hygrophila odora

Hygrophila odora is similar to difformis but differs by their narrower form. A nutrient rich substrate, water column nutrient dosing, adequate lights and CO2 injection will bring the best out of this plant.

Nymphaea sp. Leopard

A beautiful and very varied species from West Africa with leaves of green to red-brown and varying numbers of purple spots. Can grow from 20-80 cm tall.
