Lagenandra nairii 'Compact'

Lagenandra nairii ‘Compact’ is endemic to Chalakkudy, Kerala and is quite unique for its stunning compact growing habit; obviously the compact in Lagenandra varieties.

This can be grown submersed as well as emerged in paludariums/ terrariums/ photospheres etc.

Nymphaea sp. (Red lilly)

This plant can be kept compact and small by periodic pruning.

Myriophyllum tuberculatum

Good choice for Dutch aquariums. Requires high light, CO2 and nutrients to bring out the color. Clean and clear water is required as debris may clog the fine leaves.

Ludwigia atlantis 'Dark Orange'

This beautiful plant has golden yellow with green colored leaves and perfect for Dutch aquariums. Under high light it develops red stripes along the sides of leaves.

Cryptocoryne lucens is another hardy plant that is slow growing and easy to maintain. It will grow under a wide variety of lighting conditions.
