Cuphea anagalloidea

Cuphea anagalloidea is a small, demanding stem plant. Its shoots grow around 1.5 to 2 cm wide, measured from leaf tip to leaf tip. The striking red colour on the upper side of the submersed leaves is most intensive under strong light, and it can look like it was brushed on. The red leaves often have small green spots.

This is a fast growing plant and should be pruned regularly. The top should be cut for it to branch.

This needle leaf variety of P stellatus can be used as a background plant. Requires high light, CO2 and nutrient dosing.

Echinodorus Sp. Cordifolius

Bright light and nutrient rich substrate is required. Roots need to be trimmed occasionally.

Utricularia graminifolia

Requires very bright light. CO2 injection and adequate nutrient dosing helps this plant to do well in the aquarium. Size 5 X 5 cm

Important: This is a very delicate and sensitive plant so damages during transit is very high.

Echinodorus Tennelus 'broad leaf'

Requires nutrients and healthy substrate to create a lawn like appearance.

Rotala Rotundifolia 'high red'

Very bright light, CO2 injection and adequate nutrient dosing is required to bring out the red coloration.
