A hardy mid-ground plant which has to be pruned regularly to keep compact. Low nitrates with high phosphate will make the plant reddish.

Rotala Indica

Easy to grow aquarium plant which grows in various conditions. Bright light will bring out the red coloration.

Hygrophilla sp. Quadrivalvis -Needle leaf

This is a fast growing plant and should be pruned regularly.

Najas roraima

Under high light and nutrient dosing, the tip of the plant turns red. The leaves have dotted pattern. Care must be taken as the stems of this delicate plant can break off easily. They can also be kept as floating plant.

Utricularia graminifolia

Requires very bright light. CO2 injection and adequate nutrient dosing helps this plant to do well in the aquarium. Size 5 X 5 cm

Important: This is a very delicate and sensitive plant so damages during transit is very high.

Cabomba piauhyensis

This red cabomba is a high demanding plant. Regular fertilization with good light and iron supplement is required.
